We had the most lovely time at Casa Fiore – even better than we hoped. We loved the countryside all around, the views from the windows and patio, and Montecarlo was lovely. We couldn’t believe how they managed to go on partying everyday for two weeks at the wine festival. We had some lovely food, especially the nearest restaurant four minutes away – we went there twice and enjoyed the food and the surroundings very much . . . visited most of the other local ones.

My husband found a bike hire shop in Lucca and hired a bike for three days. Lucca was also a delight. The girIs and I spent quite a while in the Herbario Toscano, buying lovely soaps and things as gifts to take home – the lady there is lovely and I think we came out with as many things she had given us as we had paid for! Apart form the lovely accommodation, countryside, food, wine, etc we were very taken with how friendly everyone is – all our neighbours, many of them Italian, the gentleman who was looking after the pool and grounds, your housekeeper - they were all so helpful and welcoming.

I could really go on in this vein for ages, but I’m sure you get the general idea. My only question is – when can we go back? Would Casa Fiore be free for the same period next year? . . . Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday’.

We loved Casa Fiore. We did the normal tourist stuff, taking a day off between to “chill out”. We saw Pisa and Lucca, the chocolate festival in Montecarlo, Florence (we went once together and then I went by myself by train) and San Gimignano. We also did the “wine tour” a bit one day and loved the wine from across the road the best. I hope you have a good season this year – you have a beautiful spot’

‘We have had a wonderful stay at your property. Montecarlo is a lovely town & we were more than a little impressed with the restaurants. Weather superb. We were very impressed with the villa – you seem to have thought of absolutely everything, a home-from-home. Wee visited Florence, Siena, Pietrasanta and Viareggio during the week and of course popped in and out of Montecarlo several times. Our attempt at the Wine Trail was a bit of a failure, though, as one place had stopped producing wine in favour of olive oil and another wasn’t open to the public because they were in the middle of a vintage. However, we did manage to pick up some nice examples from Colle Verde and also of course from the Buonamico over the road, and we passed through some stunning scenery on the way. Thank you so much for the helpful information. We also used the car hire company you suggested and found them very efficient and reasonably priced. All in all it has been an extremely pleasurable experience’.

The weather held out for us and the description of the town and your beautiful home exceeded our expectations. I can certainly understand why you fell in love with the area. 'Thought I would drop you a line to say how much we enjoyed our week at Casa Fiore. The house was beautiful as were the stunning views and sunsets. I don't know how you not out there all the time! The directions you sent us were excellent. We visited Firenze (by train), Pisa and Lucca + a couple of local villages and the rest of the time lazing by the pool. It was a lovely week’. We had a wonderful time at Casa Lucia, the property was ideal for us, even more so being on the ground floor and having a garden that our little girl could play in happily. Location was perfect, the views were spectacular. We were pleasantly surprised to find that everywhere we wanted to visit was within very easy reach and we spent days in Lucca, Volterra, Florence, San Gimignano, San Miniato, Pisa and our little girl enjoyed her trips to the beach!

Firstly, the house was marvellous - we are picky and generally critical but we thought it great - well equipped & tasteful. We know Tuscany reasonably well and thought the location was a good base for exploring. We had some fantastic days away, Vinci, Firenze, San Gimignano - fabulous. . . we had a lovely time and didn't want to leave. We visited a lovely restaurants – the setting was in a lovely garden – good food and service. We would be delighted to visit you again - next year or even later this year. We have had a couple of requests today already for your details - no better advertisement than word of mouth.

We had a very enjoyable holiday at Casa Lucia which is a lovely, well equipped property with a superb outlook. The weather was very fine and in addition to significant amounts of rest, relaxation and sampling of local products - trips to Pisa, Viareggio, Montecatini Terme and Vinci (as well as San Miniato).

The pool itself was lovely, and as you suspected, we rarely shared it with anyone. The accommodation was first class, very clean.

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday, Bucciano made a perfect base for visiting loads of places, and we have left more maps and all sorts to add to the pile of information already in the house. The girl in the tourist office in San Miniato speaks perfect English and can’t do enough for you, she got us all the train times for our day trip to Florence (they usually run every half an hour and the journey takes about 35 minutes).

The supermarket was another great trip, and the directions to get to the house were most comprehensive.

Thanks for the use of your lovely casa. It has been a great holiday and greatest envy that you get to see this marvellous view all the time! For us the existing bathroom facilities were fine and the extra toilet is handy, so I can imagine the extra shower will be a bonus. Again thanks for the use of Casa Lucia – we all have good memories!! Hope to contact you in the future for another booking. Even though I mentioned before our trip that we were interested in Fiore {which was booked}, I would personally like to return to Bucciano – you are so lucky!)

We just loved our time in Bucciano. Your house is delightful . . . style of house and furnishings . . . you couldn’t have done better. We thought it was beautiful. It was extremely comfortable for us and the location was out of this world. We did loads of walking all around. We had many adventures but no matter how many times we got lost etc, it was always an immense pleasure to wind our way back to the Bucciano house. It has been a pleasure communicating with your as I planned our holiday and if you ever want to use my comments as a recommendation for the future then please do not hesitate.

We had a wonderful time although one week was not long enough to see what we wanted. We did, however, manage two days in Florence and one day in Siena. Remaining days were used to just relax and unwind. A perfect holiday with perfect weather and we promise to return one day.
